Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview
Magenta has an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance mechanic to play a key role in its continued growth and success. The maintenance mechanic’s overall role will be to support manufacturing and other maintenance functions in attaining on-time delivery of quality molded products in a safe and cost efficient manner through timely and accurate completion of preventative and emergency maintenance activities.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on injection molding machines, robots and automation equipment.
- Maintenance includes routine and complex items in hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and computer systems..
- Perform diagnostics and recommend course of action for repair of equipment.
Education, Experience & Other Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- >5 years of experience in the injection molding maintenance environment is preferred. A candidate with relevant, transferable experience would be considered.
- Candidate must be able to read and comprehend specifications, blueprints, schematics, operating manuals, and written procedures.
- Ability to purchase or own personal tool related to the position may be required.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, with a good command of English is necessary
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer
Schedule
- Day shift – Sunday through Thursday (flexible schedules may be available).
