CHICAGO – September 15, 2015 — Chicago-based Magenta, LLC, attended the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) National Conference & Business Fair held in Austin, Texas, in June 2015. The event included 16 workshops and an exhibition hall. Magenta is a certified WBE company that manufactures all of its products in the USA.

The WBENC conference benefited Magenta in three key ways, according to Jack Sloan, the company’s vice president of sales. These include:

• Raising awareness of the importance of promoting certification as a WBE company to participate in customer diversity programs
• Meeting other executives of WBE certified companies to share ideas and make connections
• Taking advantage of educational opportunities sponsored by WBENC, especially for growing a stronger woman-owned business.

Magenta also attended the 29^th annual Entrepreneurial Women’s Conference, Fueling Growth, Driving Change, which was held on September 2, 2015 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
