Jim Volpi joins MAGENTA LLC as Director of Engineering & Continuous Improvement

It’s with great pleasure that we introduce Jim Volpi as MAGENTA’s new Director of Engineering and Continuous Improvement, effective May 20th

Jim comes to MAGENTA with 20 years of experience in engineering, operations and continuous improvement. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan, an MBA from Indiana University, and a Master’s degree in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

He started his career in the automotive industry where he developed and launched products for Ford, GM and Toyota. He has held leadership positions working for companies in non-residential construction, steel, oil and gas and industrial paint equipment.

“Adding Jim to the MAGENTA team not only strengthens our Engineering capabilities, but also permits us to further embrace Lean/5S throughout our organization,” stated Bryan Smith, MAGENTA President and CEO, “both of which support our Continuous Improvement efforts and allow us to better serve our partner customers.”
