Magenta LLC, a certified Woman-Owned plastic injection molding manufacturer, announced that its newly-renovated facility, located in Lockport, IL has been certified by NSF International to Safe Quality Food (SQF) Edition 8. Desired by retailers and food service providers around the world, this certification is intended for companies, throughout all levels of the supply chain, whose products or services come into contact with food, to assure consumers that it has been prepared according to the highest possible standards. This certification significantly increases Magenta’s ability to broaden its production capabilities and further service its’ customer’s needs.

The SQF program, administered by the Food Marketing Institute (FMI), is recognized around the world as a rigorous, credible food safety & quality program. In addition, it is the only certification recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), whose mission is to provide continuous improvement of food safety management systems to ensure confidence in the delivery of safe food to consumers worldwide.
